“Be Salty”

Jesus urges us to act as salt of the earth & light of the world.

How? 

God’s love, truth, and hope preserves, flavors, and transforms us.

This mindset:

refuses to let the environment define them

protects one’s deeper worth beyond performance or hustle

keeps a soft heart

rejects the numbness, cruelty, or hopelessness

checks on others in the dressing room

stands up for the vulnerable

speaks life instead of gossip

chooses honesty

offers genuine love

prays for each other

Jesus delivered this message not to the polished religious elite in Matthew 5:13–16, but to ordinary people facing hardship and survival, reminding them they still carry value and the power to bring light where it’s needed most.
